Refund & Return Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Pion AI sells digital services only, inside an iPhone app. Nothing is shipped, so nothing is ever posted back. This page sets out who refunds what, how to ask, and what we do when the answer comes back no. It applies to every purchase of Pion AI from Individual Entrepreneur Sergei Zolotikh, Georgia, Tbilisi, Gldani district, Niko Ketskhoveli street N 16, entrance 1, floor 10, apartment N 58.
1. Physical goods and returns
There are none. Pion AI is an iPhone app and everything it sells is digital, so there is no return address, no RMA number, no restocking fee and no shipping cost to argue about. If that ever changes, this page will be rewritten before anything physical goes on sale.
2. Who takes your money, and who gives it back
Every purchase in Pion AI is an Apple in-app purchase. Apple charges your Apple ID, holds the payment details, and pays us out afterwards. We never see your card, and we never hold your money.
The consequence matters more than it sounds: refunds are issued by Apple, not by us. We cannot return a payment we did not receive, and no promise on this page can change that. What we can do is help your case along, and we do. Sections 4 and 5 explain how.
3. Try it before you pay
Every account starts on the free plan: three AI generations and unlimited use of the camera overlay, no card required. Spend those first. They exist precisely so that you can see what the output looks like before any money moves, and refunds through any app store are slower and less certain than simply not buying something you did not want.
4. How to ask Apple for a refund
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Pion AI purchase, and choose "Request a refund". You can also do it from your iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History → the purchase → Report a Problem.
Apple decides these itself, usually within 48 hours, under its own criteria and time limits. Neither approval nor refusal is ours to give.
5. What we do when Apple says no
Write to us at sergeyzolotykhh@gmail.com with the date of the purchase and what went wrong. We reply within 2 business days, and depending on the case we will do one of these:
- Give you a written statement of what happened on our side, which you can attach to a second request to Apple. Apple weighs the developer's account of a fault heavily, and this is the single most useful thing we can hand you.
- Extend your paid period, or credit generations to your account, by the amount in question. This is the compensation we control directly, and we can apply it immediately.
- Where you bought through some route other than Apple, refund you ourselves within 10 business days.
6. Cases we back you on
In these situations we will support a refund request without argument, and say so in writing to Apple:
- Our fault. A failure on our side blocked paid features for more than 72 consecutive hours.
- Paid feature withdrawn. We removed something you paid for and it materially reduced the plan.
- Charged for nothing. A subscription period you did not use at all, where a renewal caught you by surprise and you tell us within 7 days.
- First purchase, quickly regretted. Within 14 days of your first ever purchase, with no more than 10 generations used.
- Duplicate or unauthorised charge. We will also secure the account.
Where consumer law in your country gives you a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services, that right applies on top of this policy and nothing here limits it.
7. How to cancel a subscription
On your iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Pion AI → Cancel Subscription. Four taps, no email to anyone.
Deleting the app does not cancel anything, and neither does deleting your Pion AI account. Apple bills the subscription, so only Apple can stop it. If you cannot find it, write to us and we will walk you through it.
8. What cancelling does and does not do
Cancelling stops all future charges and leaves your access running to the end of the period you already paid for. It does not by itself refund the current period; that follows sections 4 to 6.
9. Exceptions
These are the cases where we will not support a refund request, though you are always free to ask Apple anyway:
- Generations already spent, beyond the allowances in section 6. A completed generation is a delivered service and it costs us real processing.
- Dissatisfaction with how a picture turned out, where the app worked as described. AI output varies, and the free generations exist so you can judge that before paying.
- Accounts closed by us for breaking the Terms of Service.
- Pack credits that expired unused after 12 months.
- Currency conversion or bank fees, which are not ours and never reach us.
10. Chargebacks
Please go through Apple first, and write to us if Apple refuses. A bank dispute over an Apple in-app purchase is slower than either route and can put your whole Apple ID in a bad state, which affects every app you have ever bought, not just ours.
